Using Action Note

Action Note helps turn transcripts and recordings into meeting summaries. Keep your sign-in credentials secure and provide accurate account information. Use the service only for lawful purposes and for content you have permission to process.

Your content and permissions

You retain your rights in the content you provide. You authorize the processing needed to transcribe, summarize, store, display, and share it as you request, using the providers described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for obtaining any necessary participant permissions and complying with recording, confidentiality, and data protection obligations.

AI-generated results

Summaries can omit context, misattribute statements, or contain errors. Check names, decisions, assignments, and deadlines against the source before sharing or relying on a report. Output is not a substitute for professional advice or human review.

Free plan and usage

The Free tier includes five successful summary generations per user per UTC calendar month. Allowances reset on the first day of the month and do not roll over. Reading, saving, printing, and sharing an existing summary do not consume summary actions. Failed processing is refunded; an interrupted server request may require administrator review.

After reaching the allowance, you can continue accessing existing records, but new generation waits until the next reset. Email delivery and other provider limits can apply independently. No paid subscription is currently offered.

Acceptable use

Do not upload unlawful content or information you are not authorized to disclose. Do not use the service for spam, attempt unauthorized access to other accounts, disrupt the service, or bypass usage restrictions. Access may be suspended to address misuse or security issues.

Availability and sharing

Service availability depends on hosting, authentication, AI, and email providers. Processing or email delivery may fail or be delayed. Keep your original meeting sources and any records you need. Check recipient addresses before sharing: a sent report cannot be recalled through Action Note.

Account closure and privacy

You may stop using the service and delete saved meetings. Contact the operator to request account closure. The Privacy Policy describes stored information, administrator access, and limits on deletion of provider backups and shared copies. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Action Note is operated by Thiran Systems, based in Canada. For privacy questions, access or correction requests, or account deletion, contact privacy@actionnote.io. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

Updates

Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Material changes to how personal information is handled should be communicated before they take effect, with additional consent where required.
